0040: One More Call

0040: Everly can tell that Hayley is hiding something, but the less she knows about Hayley’s escapades, the better. 

Everly hangs up. Vivian is yanking the toilet paper off one square at a time. It looks as if she’s making a tissue paper flower. Shifting from one foot to the other, Everly waits impatiently. Unroll the toilet paper like a human, Vivian. 

Finally, Vivian gets a big enough blossom to wipe with, then she flushes and shuffles back to her bunk. Everly hangs up the receiver and stares at the payphone with dread. 

She has to make one more call.
